Description:

A subtle organic embroidery design adorns our signature hand woven raw silk fabric for this cushion. Loosely based on African tribal markings this design takes us back to nature both from its design element and the natural silk yarns used to make this work of art. Like a human fingerprint, due to the very nature of its production, each cushion is unique. The natural slubs and variations of colour tone in the raw silk yarn add a naive charm. The fabric has been woven with traditional methods by skilled artisans on a hand loom, this we believe breathes a living soul into the cushion. Natural slubs in the yarn combine with an un-uniform weave to give the cushion an "imperfect" elegance. A characteristic that is all to often lost in the modern world due to standardised sterile manufacturing processes.

This cushion is designed by us and is exclusive to our store. We pride ourselves on the quality of our cushions. All are hand made with beautiful fabrics which are overlocked to avoid fraying and have discreet zips that are colour co-ordinated to the cushion. 
Made in a limited number, so not only will you be getting a beautiful cushion you will also be buying something truly unique.

As with all our cushions the choice is yours, cover only, dispatched with a hypoallergenic hollow fibre insert or for something more sumptuous you can add one of our soft duck feather fillers.

Both inserts are of a premium quality and manufactured in the UK.
